Maxie Beckworth Riley

Maxie Beckworth Riley, 90, of 151 Broadleaf Drive, died Thursday, December 20, 2012. Services will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church of Christ with the Reverend Scott Dickison officiating. Burial will be private in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends in the fellowship hall at the church following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Christ, Memorial Fund, 511 High Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Mrs. Riley was a member of First Baptist Church of Christ and the Faithful Sunday Class for seventy years. She was a retired purchasing manager for the City of Macon as well as the clerk for City Council. Mrs. Riley was the wife of the late Dan Barney Riley, Sr. and was predeceased by her sisters, Georgia Belle Walker and Vivian Dobson. Mrs. Riley is survived by her son, Dan Riley, Jr. (Jackie) of Macon; daughter, Becky Rankin (Dale) of Jupiter, Florida; daughter, Jane Belflower (Billy) of Warner Robins; son, Art Riley (Kathy) of Macon; grandchildren, Nancy Riley, Stacey Turner, Kristi Hernandez, Riley Belflower, Hank Riley, Carson Riley and Mary Francis Riley; great-grandchildren, Robbie Riley and Elsey Turner; sister, Ruby Harrison of Macon.
