Maudie F. Strozier

Maudie F. Strozier passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Dr. Shannon Back officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday, August 14 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 S Lizella Road, Lizella, GA 31052. Mrs. Strozier expressed her faith in many ways including: Longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Kindergarten teacher at Cross Keys Christian Academy, member of Lizella Baptist church and through her craft ministries. Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Alex Strozier, Sr.; three brothers, Russell Fellows (Patsy), Dean Fellows (Judy), and Gary Fellows (Jackie); her four children, Rev. Paul Strozier (Marianne) of Ohio, Anita Vause (Dave) of S.C, Nancy Kyte (Walter) of Forsyth, and Dr. Melton Strozier (Paula) of Macon; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
