Mattie H. Gantt, 70, of Macon, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Mrs. Gantt was an employee at Keebler. She was a member of Philo Sigma Gamma Rho. Mrs. Gantt is survived by her children, Starling Carswell, Reginald Gantt (Renee) and Bengela Gantt, all of Macon; six grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Elizabeth Brown of Macon, Clifford Howard of Atlanta, Jessie Howard, Jr. of Atlanta, and Jimmy Howard of Macon and a host of nieces and nephews.
