Matthew Dane Horsley

Matthew Dane Horsley, 39, of Macon, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2026.

He was born on January 28, 1987, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Tony and Mary Kaye Horsley. Matthew grew up in Soperton, Georgia and graduated from Treutlen High School in 2005. His adult life was spent in Macon where he enjoyed woodworking, writing, and gaming.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Horsley, Eranestine Brown, Thomas Magouirk, and Helen Magouirk. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sister, Melissa (Courtland) Bates, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New City Eastside Church, 2360 Gray Highway, Macon, GA 31211.
