Mary Frances Sutton

Mary Frances Sutton, 85, of Macon passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 3:30 PM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the Cupola. Mrs. Sutton was born in Macon, GA and lived there all of her life. She lost both of her parents, Alexander James and Lillie Mae Horne, at a very early age. Mrs. Sutton went on to work at the Naval Ordinance Plant and at Robins Air Force Base, but spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was devoted to her family and adored her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Sutton enjoyed gardening and was well known for her wonderful cooking. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Floyd Gregory, Jr., and Johnny F. Sutton, Sr., and her brothers, George Robinson, Charles Horne and Bill Horne. She is survived by her children, James F. (Beverly) Gregory, of Perry, GA; Johnny F. (Celina) Sutton, Jr., of Macon, GA; Susan Sutton (Edmond) Schneider, of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Courtney (Jim) Chester and Caroline Sutton; great-grandchildren, Reese and J.T.
