Mary E. Lanthrip

Mary E. Lanthrip 77, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018. Services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, 11:00 AM at Middle Georgia Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel in Gray, GA.

Mary was born on April 3, 1941 in Sandersville GA and has been a long time resident of Dry Branch, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and loved her family, fishing and Atlanta Braves Baseball.

Mary is predeceased by her father, Charlie Waters, mother, Maude Caraway Waters, husband, Lamar Lanthrip, son, Dean Denton, brothers, I.J. Waters and M.C. Waters and grandson, Brian Denton.

Mary is survived by her children, Jerry (Martha) Denton of Milledgeville GA; Gary and William Denton of Macon; sisters, Delia Denton and Reba Brown of Tennille GA and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
