Mary L. Jones

Macon- Mary L. Jones, of Byron, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 22, 2009, at 2:00PM, in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. The family will greet friends following the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208 or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410. Mrs. Jones was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Robert E. Long and Milton Long, Jr. Survivors: Daughter, Elaine McLeod; Son, Buford Boone, Jr. (Cindy); Son, Eric Boone (Linda); Jeannine Norman (Jay); Sister, Doris Jones (Bill); 15 grandchildren and 35 great grand children. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory on Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
