Mary Lou Gibbs Connery

Mary Lou Gibbs Connery, 87, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 3, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Doubrava and Lillian Osilka Doubrava and was the widow of Charles Thomas Connery.

Before moving to Macon in 2018, she lived in Grant, Florida and Plantation, Florida. Mary Lou loved the lord and was a devout Catholic.

Mary Lou will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tim Gibbs (Becky) of Burlington, Massachusetts; daughter, Patty Gibbs (Jaime Kaplan) of Macon; grandchildren: Aidan Gibbs and Alison Gibbs; sister, Charlotte Girardot of Indianapolis, Indiana; and brother, John Thomas Doubrava of Burlington, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her sister, Bernadine Sekeres.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon, GA 31201.
