Mary Belle Becker

Macon- Mary Belle Becker, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 12:00 noon at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 501 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia with Hart's Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Mary Belle was born in Benton, Illinois on July 30, 1921 to F.L. and Bertha Skinner. She married Charles T. Becker in 1946. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri until Charles retired, whereupon they moved to Charlotte, NC. For the past 12 years, Mary Belle has lived in Macon, where Charles died in 2001. Surviving are daughter, Donna (Tom) Lehman of Macon, two grandchildren, Jonathan (Jennifer) of Chattanooga, TN, Jill (Erik) Henrickson of Tyrone, GA, two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Cooper Lehman, a sister-in-law Betty (Bob) Chartrand of Arlington, TX, several nieces and one nephew. Mary Belle loved her Wednesdays playing bridge, the outdoors, and just being around her family and friends. She attended First Church of Christ Scientist. She will be missed by many.
