Mary Lee Aultman Etheridge

Mary Lee Aultman Etheridge, 96, of 5471 Thomaston Road, Macon, GA, entered into her eternal rest on November 20, 2009. Born in Houston County, she was the daughter of the late Green Bateman Aultman and the late Mary Lee (Molly) Garvin Aultman. She was the widow of the late Hubert Calvin Etheridge, with whom she owned and operated the B-Thrifti Grocery Store on Houston Avenue in Macon for several decades. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mildred Holleman and Margaret Cheek, by her brothers Hugh Aultman and Gresham Aultman, and by her son, Hubert Malcolm Etheridge. She is survived by her sons John Green (J.G.) Etheridge of Macon, GA. and William Lawton Etheridge of Winston-Salem, N.C., her daughters-in-law Anita Bruce Etheridge, Linda Shaw Etheridge, and Merita Higgs Etheridge; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Services: Memorial Service at John Wesley Villas, Belle Meade Building, 5471 Thomaston Road, Macon, on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 10 AM. Visitation: The family will receive friends after the memorial service. Private Family Burial. The family members wish to express their gratitude to Dr. Lisa Snellgrove and her staff, to the caregivers at Hospice of Central Georgia, and to all those who helped make her final days peaceful.
