Martha Lewis

Martha Lewis, 86, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Funeral services will be at 3:00PM on Monday, September 22, 2014 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Burial will be private. Family will greet friends following the service at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 152 North Crest Blvd, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mrs. Lewis was the Head of Compensation at Robins Air Force Base where she was employed for 52 years. She loved gardening and working with flowers. She was very active with the Lion's Club broom sales. Mrs. Lewis was predeceased in death by her parents, Augusta "Peggy" Napier Harrod and Thomas Napier; and son, Walter Lewis, III "Little Walt". Survivors include her husband, Walter H. Lewis, Jr. of Macon; brother, A.R. Napier (Jane) of Byron; sister, Betty N. Staples of Cedartown, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
