Martha Wilder Kearbey

Martha Wilder Kearbey, 72, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Monroe Memorial Gardens, Forsyth, Georgia.  Family will greet family and friends on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the Hart’s Mortuary Chapel, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in honor of Martha W. Kearbey. Ms. Martha was born in Forsyth, Georgia, to the late Walter Howard Wilder and Annie Beatrice Pollard Wilder.  She married Jim Kearbey.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She also loved reading and going to the beach.  Ms. Martha retired from Bellsouth after twenty-five years of service.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jim Kearbey; her stepson, Todd (Angie) Kearbey; her grandchild, Lacey (Jacob) Brooks, and great-grandson, Andrew Brooks; her sister, Cheryl (Lynn) Guyton; her nephew, Clint (Barbara) Hargrove; and grandchildren, Griffin Hargrove, Bailey Hargrove, Peyton Hargrove, and Alex Keaton.  Ms. Martha is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Lewis Wilder.
