Martha Jones

Martha Geneva Jones, 81, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 with Reverend Rayford Johnson and Reverend Ronnie Campbell officiating. The family will greet friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Cupola. Martha was born in Macon to the late Clyde and Maggie Horton Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jones; son, Raymond Jones; granddaughter, Amber Jones; sister, Linda Meeks; and brother, Jack Johnson. Martha was a homemaker. She was a member at Rivoli Crossing Baptist Church for over 30 years where she was active in the choir and nursery. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael (Shirley) Jones, Gail Semmelink, Danny (Kim) Jones, Connie Smith, and Tina (Mickey) Latham, thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; and brother, Rayford Johnson.
