Martha Hammond

Macon- Martha H. Hammond, 79, of 2915 Rolling Road, died Thursday, March 25, 2010. Services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 10:30AM at Ingleside United Methodist Church with the Reverends Wesley Jones, Richard Lanning and Deborah Holt officiating. Burial will be at 3:30PM at Carrollton City Cemetery, Carrollton, Georgia. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 3:00PM until 5:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Ingleside United Methodist Church, 3187 Ridge Avenue, Macon, GA 31201 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Hammond was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church, the Brake Sunday School Class and Pine Ridge Garden Club. Mrs. Hammond is survived by her children, Nancy Rinn (Charlie) of Columbus and Dr. Martha Suzann Mazur (Karl) of Atlanta; grandchildren, Christy Townsend (Todd) of Columbus, Patrick Rinn of Hawaii and Amanda Rinn of Columbus; great-grandchild, Taylor Townsend; sisters, Laura Lyle and Ora Reid, both of Carrollton; several nieces and nephews.
