Martha Buckner Ellis

Martha Buckner Ellis, 85, of 194 Pierce Avenue, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Jack Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church, 565 Wimbish Road, Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Ellis was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her first husband, Stark Buckner III, and by her son, Stark Buckner IV. Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband, Sinclair Ellis; son, Mike Buckner (Sharlett) of Humble, Texas; daughter, Kathy McGraw (Jack) of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren, Stark "Duffy" Buckner (Amy), Brooks Buckner, Jeremiah Harrison (Leslie), Christopher Harrison (Jamie), Justin Buckner, Shelli (Chad) Davidson and Adam Bostick; eight great-grandchildren; brother, the Reverend Jack Anderson of Statesboro, Georgia; step-daughter, Susan Coomer (Don) of Savannah, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
