Martha Cook, 70, passed away on Monday, April 06, 2015 in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Father Joseph Mundakal officiating. Burial will be at 1:30PM at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Family will greet friends Wednesday, April 8, 2015 between 4:00-6:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road in Macon, Gerogia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Henry Catholic Church, 6401 Harding Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37205. Mrs. Cook was the daughter of the late Frederick Joseph Ellis and the late Ruby Clanton Ellis. She was the widow of Ralph Newton Cook. She was a devout Catholic and loving mother. Mrs. Cook retired from St. Henry School in Nashville, Tennessee where she worked for almost 30 years. Survivors include two sons, Father Philip C. Cook, OSA of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Peter C. Cook (Amanda) of Macon; two grandchildren, Grace Cook and Samuel Cook both of Macon; two sisters, Catherine Bruton of Jonesboro, Georgia, and Marie Ray of Delta, Ohio; and brother, Raymond Ellis of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
