Martha "Dianne" Burke Showers

Martha Dianne Burke Showers, 70, of Macon, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2022.

Daughter of the late J. B. and Mary Frances Allen Burke, Dianne was a graduate of Jones County High School.  She had many careers during her life, including, a Teamster Union Truck Driver, real estate broker in Florida and Louisiana, and a general contractor.

In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Anderson, and brother, Joseph Burke.

Dianne is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ray Showers of Macon; children, James Moates of Florida, Michael Christopher “Kip” Moates of Spartanburg, South Carolina, April Showers Lott of Auburn, Alabama, Tracie Showers of Rhode Island, Andrea Jane of Alabama, and Yvette Showers Learner of Chipley, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hart’s Jones County Chapel, Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 has charge of the arrangements.
