Martha "Ms. Betty" Elizabeth Jenkins

Martha Elizabeth “Ms. Betty” Jenkins, 92, of Macon, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021.  Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Maynard and Nellie Jones.  She was an amazing artist who loved to paint oil paintings of landscapes and animals. She attended Macon Wimbish Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Martha is survived by her two daughters, Rosemary Burton of Macon and Donna Collins of Portsmouth, Ohio; son, Donald Jenkins (Mary) of Portsmouth, Ohio; six grandchildren, Terri Lothamer of Lakeview, Ohio, Kim Bloomfield (Paul) of New Boston, Ohio, Stacey Clark, Nicole and Kia Jenkins, and Rodney Jenkins (Kimberly), all from Portsmouth, Ohio; eighteen great-grandchildren, Jay Eastway (Nazra) of Douglasville, Pennsylvania, Jenna Murphy (Kevin) of Cardington, Ohio, Justin Eastway (Jordan) of Westerville, Ohio, Ainsley Toft of Houston, Texas, Thomas Toft (Maria) of Maineville, Ohio, Kelsey Toft of Loveland, Ohio, Courtney Bloomfield of Wausau, Wisconsin, Samantha Lee (Aaron) of Gassaway, West Virginia, Kylie Gilbert (Bronson) of Temple, Georgia, Shayla Jenkins (Jason Collins), Brayden Jenkins, Gavin Days, Gabe Jenkins, Levi Jenkins, and Lexi Jenkins, Cody Adams, all from Portsmouth, Ohio, Haleigh Wolfenbarker (Bryce) from Greenup, Kentucky, and seven great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Norman Jenkins, Sr. and her granddaughter, Lora Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ms. Betty’s honor to American Cancer Society.
