Martha Bennett

Lizella-Martha Bennett, 84, of 2201 Midway Road, Lizella, Ga. passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in the Midway Baptist Church in Lizella with the Reverends Mike Fuller and Billy Abney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 4:00PM till 6:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola.

Born in Bibb County, she was the daughter of the late Herman McCallum and the late Olie Tidwell McCallum. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, James F. Bennett, Sr. and daughter, Joyce Ann Duncan. She was faithful to her Lord Jesus Christ, her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her Children, James F. Bennett Jr.(Terri) of Knoxville, Ga., Janice Lowe of Macon,( Sandy Orr and Darrell Lowe), David C. Bennett (Debra) of Lizella, Ga.; Son in law, Ronnie F. Duncan of Frankfurt, West Virginia; Eleven Grandchildren and Seventeen great Grandchildren.
