Marilyn Patricia Stapleton

Macon-Marilyn Stapleton, 57, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Graveside services will be at 3:00PM on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Fishing Creek Cemetery in Lumber City, Georgia with the Reverend Eddis Kirkland officiating. Visitation will be between 6:00-8:00PM on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Foundation of Central Georgia, ATTN: Central Georgia C.A.R.E.S., 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Suite 303, Macon, Georgia 31201.

Ms. Stapleton was the daughter of the late William Marcus Stapleton and the late Mary Evelyn Thompson Stapleton. She graduated from Sanford University School of Pharmacy. She was a pharmacist at CVS on Northside Drive.

Survivors include sisters, Carol Ray-Haynie (Tony) of Macon, and Gail Finley of Colbert, Georgia; brother, Anthony Stapleton (Nancy) of Lumber City, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Jon Ray (Sam) of Atlanta, Somer Turner (Brad) of Lumber City, Mark Roberson of Atlanta, and Miranda Roberson (Peter) of Atlanta; great nieces and nephews, Lexi Turner, Hayden Turner and Samantha Turner all of Lumber City; and her cat, Delilah.
