Marie F. Smaha

Marie F. Smaha, 68, of 5838 Rivoli Drive, died Monday, October 28, 2013. Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Kavanaugh officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery (North Gate). A rosary will be said on Friday at 6:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, followed by visitation until 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Polycystic Kidney Foundation, P. O. Box 871847, Kansas City, Missouri 64187 or to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 409410, Atlanta, Georgia 30384. Mrs. Smaha attended the University of Georgia. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed traveling, attending University of Georgia football games, tennis, golf and gardening. She was a great mother, grandmother, friend and a loving wife. Mrs. Smaha is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Dr. Paul G. Smaha II of Macon; children, Dr. Paul G. Smaha III (Carol), Kim A. Smaha and Dr. Jason Smaha (Michelle), all of Macon; grandchildren, Katlyn Smaha, Paul G. Smaha IV, Jake Smaha, Josh Smaha, Jason Smaha II, Heather Smaha and Victoria Smaha, all of Macon; step-grandchildren, Lesley Smith of Warner Robins and David Smith of Savannah.
