Marie Beasley Reid: 93, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Father Alan McDonald will officiate. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and a scripture service will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Born in Macon, She was the daughter of the late Oscar Cleveland Beasley and Lucy Green Langford Beasley. She is the widow of Thomas Louis Reid Sr. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Ann Stout of Roswell, Thomas L. Reid, Jr.(Susan) of Macon, Ga.; Victoria Bronson(Bill) of Overland, Kansas. Six grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren; Brothers, Eddie Beasley(Martha) of Macon and Russell Beasley(Lois) of Dawson, Ga. Brothers-in-law, Richard Reid and Madden Reid(Joan); Several nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to The St. Vincent DePaul Society, C/O St. Joseph Catholic Church.
