Macon-Marie Hilliard died Friday, May 01, 2009. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Monday, May 4, 2009 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road with Preacher Rob Robinson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM at her residence, 209 Matlock Lane, Macon, and again on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 4:00-6:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola. Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Thomaston Road Church of Christ, 5859 Thomaston Rd, Macon, GA 31220.

Mrs. Hilliard was a member of Thomaston Road Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a servant's heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and an unforgettable smile. She loved her home and family and always thought of others before herself. Mrs. Hilliard will be missed by her friends and family that loved her. She was the daughter of the late Harrison Pendergrass and the late Ruth Dill Pendergrass. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Hilliard, and six brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hilliard is survived by her son, Ronald L. (Helen) Hilliard of Atlanta; daughter, Denise (Mike) Sheridan of Macon; grandson, Sean L. (Angella) Hilliard of Atlanta; granddaughter, Kelly M. Hilliard of Atlanta; granddaughter, Courtney M. Sheridan of Macon; granddaughter, Casey M. Sheridan of Macon; five great grandchildren; and sister, Sylvia (Gerald) Brandon of Huntington, TN.
