Margarett B. Coleman

Margarett B. Coleman, age 71, of Macon, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Margarett was born to Etta Hoffman and Claude Bishop in Marietta, GA on December 14, 1939. A creative individual, Margarett enjoyed painting, sewing, cooking and entertaining. Her embroidered gifts were received by many friends and family members. Her jobs included running a liquor store and accounting office and owning her own sewing and fabric store. She also worked at Marbury Engineering, Hentschel Motor Cars, and The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce before moving to Macon in 2002.

She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Pete Coleman of Macon; son, Scott Anderson of Fayeteville, NC; step-daughter, Julie Ann Paruolo Brennan and her husband, Michael Brennan of Canton, GA; grandson, Chris Anderson and granddaughter, Maggie Anderson of Fayeteville NC; stepson, John and Nancy Stephenson, and step-grandsons, Mark and Will Stephenson of Albany, GA.

A memoriam in her honor will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00AM at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola located at 6324 Peake Road, Macon. Family will greet friends after the service in the chapel.
