Margaret Waldorf Wrye

Marietta,GA- Margaret Waldorf Wrye, 94, died Monday, January 5, 2009. Services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Tommy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery (Main Gate). The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, Bus Fund, 719 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Mrs. Wrye, daughter of the late William Alden Waldorf and the late Bertie Elizabeth Buckelew Waldorf, was the wife of the late John Frank Wrye. She was a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, the Solomon-Fellowship Sunday School Class and UMW. She was also a member of Bibb County Kiwanis Club. Mrs. Wrye is survived by her daughters, Beth Tanner of Tybee Island, GA and Ginny Kinard (Bill) of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Brian Charles Tanner of Decatur, Amy Tanner Cox of Palm City, FL and Alex Mongold of Salt Lake City, Utah; great-grandchildren, Mathew Tanner, Maren Tanner, Tanner Cox, and Tennessee Cox; several nieces and nephews.
