Margaret P. Wall

Macon-Margaret P. Wall, 95, died Friday, April 1, 2011. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, April 10, 2011 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Hal Weidman officiating. Family will greet friends following the service at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, 248 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd., Macon, GA 31210.

Mrs. Wall retired from the Georgia Department of Labor and the jewelry department of Macy's. She volunteered for many organizations following retirement. Born in Madrid, Spain, she moved to the United States in April of 1920. She lived on Ellis Island for four months until she moved to Barre, Vermont. She moved to Elberton, Georgia in 1941. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lisa Fernandez Schlottman.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Antonio Fernandez of Macon; daughter, Irene Daly and her husband Art of Madison, CT; son, David Fernandez and his wife Doris of York, PA; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
