Margaret "Margie" Taylor

Margaret “Margie” Taylor, 87, of Macon, passed away June 17, 2018. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Hart’s Jones County Chapel with Pastor Evans Brown, Sr. officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Rockdale County. She was the former owner of Crescent Snow-White Cleaners and A&T Cleaners.

Mrs. Taylor was the wife of the late William “Bill” Taylor Jr. and the daughter of the late Melton Mancil Corley and the late Essie Lee Smith Corley. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Benjie Baggarly, great-granddaughter, Kaylee Tidwell, and long-time caregiver, Sarah Brown Flemming.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by daughter, Beverly Taylor Baggarly of Jones County; son, Robert Timothy “Tim” Taylor (Susan) of Gray; daughter, Susan Taylor Oliver (Dennis) of Gray; grandchildren, Brandon Baggarly (Jamie), Bridgett Monroe (Jeff), Hannah Carroll (Bruce), Matthew Taylor (Caitlin Roberts), Jade Thibodeaux (Ronnie), and Ruby Holmes (Marcus); step-grandchildren, Sage Brownlee, Mesa Williamson (Blake), and Cade Brownlee; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Haleigh, Taylor, Tyler, Emma Grace, Haven, Trace, Mason, Reid and Joey; great great-grandchild, Holden; brother, Billy Corley of Conyers, Georgia; and caregivers, Tameka Watson, Harriet Adams, Becky Wood, and Lynn Barton.
