Margaret Corbin Raley

Macon-Margaret Corbin Raley, 87, died Thursday, November 10, 2011. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Christ Church with the Reverend Harriette Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Raley was a member of the Junior League of Macon, the History Club of Macon, and a lifetime member of the Historic Macon Foundation. She was a member of Christ Church of Macon and Christ Church of St. Simons Island, Georgia. Mrs. Raley was the widow of Charles Culver Corbin and Marion Sidney Raley. She is survived by her sons, Charles Culver Corbin, Jr. (Fay) of Atlanta, Georgia, Peter Reed Corbin (Janice) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mark Mitchell Corbin (Paulette) of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Charles Corbin III (Polly) of Dacula, Georgia, and Natalie Patierno (Rick) of Sugar Hill, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Blane Humphries of Statesboro, Georgia, Joshua Patierno of Sugar Hill, Georgia, and Leiah Patierno of Sugar Hill, Georgia; and two sisters, Ruth Kelley of Springfield, Missouri, and Marie Whittaker of Raleigh, North Carolina.
