Margaret Christmas Quillian Jones

Margaret Christmas Quillian Jones of Macon, GA went to be with her Lord on December 28th, 2020. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, December 31, 2020, 11:00 am at Hart’s Mortuary and Cremation Center, 765 Cherry Street, Macon GA 31201. The Reverend Reson Holt will be officiating. Burial services will follow at Macon Memorial Park, Macon, GA. The family will greet friends one hour before services at Hart’s Mortuary and Cremation Center.

Mrs. Jones was born February 1, 1924 in Experiment, GA. She attended Kinkade Grammar & Spalding County High Schools. She was employed for 17 years at Commercial Credit and 11 years at Cross Keys Christian Academy. Margaret loved her family more than anything in her life.

Her parents were James Roy Christmas and Mabel Brannon Christmas; Grandparents were Fred Leonard Brannon and Ollie Cornwell Brannon; Needham and Mary Lucy Smith Christmas. She had one brother: Hugh Edward Christmas. Preceded in death by husband Roy Edgard Jones, and son Charles McKindree Quillian, and grandson John Quillian. Survived by son David Wayne Jones, daughters-in-law: Sherry Jones, Linda Quillian Pate, Shirley Mayne, and Joan Collier. Grandchildren: Cari (Joe), Charline (Ronnie), David, Mackie, and Sandy Quillian. Great Grandchildren: Clay, Charles, Courtney (Josh), Marie. Great Great Grandchildren: Jacqueline, Margaret, Conner, Parker, Walker, Travis and Johnny.

Hart’s Mortuary and Cremation Center, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201, has charges of arrangements.
