Margaret Imogene "Jean" Carr

Margaret Imogene "Jean" Carr passed away May 14, 2018. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032 with Pastor Joe Bowker and Reverend Bob Hamilton, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 5:00-7:00PM at Jones County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Macon Rescue Mission, 774 Hazel Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Jean was a loving wife of 66 years to Alan Carr, Sr. She loved to fish, she was a great cook, and a former member of North Ridge Baptist Church. Jean was adored by her children and grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her husband, Alan Dwight Carr; son, Alan Dwight Carr, Jr. (Tisha); daughter, Deborah Clarke (Kenneth); 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
