Margaret Jones Jackson

Macon, GA - Margaret Jones Jackson died Friday, July 9, 2010. Services will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at 2:00PM in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. The Reverend Tommy Martin will be officiating. Burial will be at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 6511 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216. Mrs. Jackson was born February 12, 1920 in Macon, GA. She was the daughter of Harold Bronson Jones and Essie Hamlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Milton Jackson, and her grandson, Jason Arnold. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Southside United Methodist Church and was also a substitute teacher for over 35 years for the Bibb County School system. Survivors: Son, Steve Milton Jackson; Two daughters, Connie (Royce) Jackson Arnold and Janice Jackson, all of Macon; Three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
