Margaret Laverne Fender

Margaret Laverne Fender, 74, of Macon, passed away May 5, 2018. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Fender was born in Nashville, Georgia and grew up in Thomaston, Georgia. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. Mrs. Fender lived in Macon most of her life, retiring from Aramark (Wesleyan College). She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, working in the yard, and cooking.

Mrs. Fender was predeceased by her sister, Willene Harris.

Mrs. Fender is survived by daughters, Robyn Hansen (Jim) of Monroe, Michigan and Lisa Anthony of Macon; sisters, Mabel Mullis of Cumming, Georgia and Barbara Barnette of Pine Mountain Valley, Georgia; granddaughters, Abby, Emma, Sterling, and Maggie; grandson, Hunter; and great-grandson, Tony.
