Margaret Sellers Elliott

Margaret Sellers Elliott passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 60. She was born on September 16, 1963, in Macon, Georgia, to her loving parents James Barry Sellers and the late Crockett Rader Sellers.

Margaret graduated from Mountain Brook High School in Alabama and attended Mount Vernon College in Washington D.C. Margaret was a woman of many talents and interests. An active member of Ingleside Baptist Church, her faith played a significant role in her life and provided her with strength and guidance. She was a proud mother of two Eagle Scouts. She actively participated in the Macon Civic Club show.

Throughout her life, Margaret enjoyed various hobbies and pursuits. She loved to play tennis, where she formed lasting friendships along the way. Her culinary skills were unmatched, as she delighted her loved ones with delicious meals, always creating an inviting atmosphere as a hostess and entertainer extraordinaire. She cherished the moments spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Margaret's impact extended beyond her immediate circle of family and friends.

Margaret's memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Robert Bruce Elliott of Macon; her sons, Bo Elliott (Carly) and Sellers Elliott, both of Macon; her grandson, James Robert Elliott; her father, Barry Sellers of Macon; her brother, Rader Sellers (Kate) of Macon; and her sister, Crockett Sellers Miller (Travis) of Columbus, GA. She is predeceased by her mother Crockett Rader Sellers, and her brother Shay Sellers.

Margaret left this place in absolute confidence, eager to join her Mother, Grandmother, Brother, and others in Heaven. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and his Salvation.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the chapel of Ingleside Baptist Church with Dr. Tim McCoy and Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. The burial will be private at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the residence of Bruce Elliott following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Margaret's honor to her beloved Ingleside Baptist Church, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon, GA 31210.
