Margaret L. "Betty" Gaskin

Margaret L. "Betty" Gaskin died Saturday, December 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street, with Dr. Jimmy Asbell officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends for 30 minutes prior to the service. Mrs. Gaskin was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church. She had moved to Macon in 1948. An avid bridge player, Mrs. Gaskin was a member of the Macon Duplicate Bridge Club, where she was a life master. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John B. Gaskin, Sr. Mrs. Gaskin is survived by her son: John B. Gaskin, Jr. of Milledgeville; two grandchildren: John B. Gaskin, III (Wendy) of Jones County and Ava Golden of Milledgeville; three great-grandchildren: Levi Golden, Drake Golden ,and Aubrey Gaskin. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
