Marcus Sessel "Mark" Frank, Jr.

Marcus Sessel "Mark" Frank, Jr., 74, died at home on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Funeral services will be at 3:00PM on Friday, December 6, 2013 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street with the Reverend Harriette Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends on Thursday, December 5th between 5:00-7:00PM at Hart's. The family may be reached at the residence. Mr. Frank was born July 4, 1939 and raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. During Mark's senior year in High School, his family moved to Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville. Mark was an analytical chemist and retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation. He was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church working with Meals of Wheels, Outreach Program, and the Weekend Lunch Program. Mark was predeceased by his parents, Marcus Sessel Frank, Sr and Horace and Aletha Kalshaw Howey. Mr. Frank is survived by his best friend and companion, F. Dennis Chance of Macon; son, Scott Frank of Fisherville, Kentucky; brother, Mike Howey (Judy) of Goose Creek, South Carolina; niece, Heather Krako (Chris) of Lake Stevens, Washington.
