Mamie Wells Madden

Mamie Wells Madden, 95, died on Friday, March 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, April 1, 2013 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Mike Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery in Dublin, Georgia at 4:30PM. Family will greet friends Sunday, March 31st from 5:00-7:00PM at the Cupola. Mrs. Madden was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was an Eastern Star. Mrs. Madden was the widow of Lannie Merrell Madden. She was best known by her family as "Grandbuddy" and as the most loving, giving and forgiving person who ever lived. Survivors include her daughters, Merrelyn M. Dorman (Ronnie) of Sandersville, Georgia, Janet M. Mullis of Macon, and Judith Christian (Jim) of Chillicothe, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Amy Kathryn Cranor (Daniel), Melissa Mullis, Wesley Mullis (Lena), Hope Leatherwood (Cliff), Brian Odom (Crystal), Russell Odom, Savannah Brimer (Dustin); 10 great grandchildren, Sophia Cranor, Lauren Mullis, Anna Brooke Mullis, Megan Mullis, David Merrell Mullis, Bryce Leatherwood, Lance Leatherwood, Jeremy Odom, Kaitlyn Mullins, and Gabriella Odom. Special rememberance to Harriett Taylor, Debra Mullis, Hilda Miller and the staff of Pine Pointe Hospice for making it possible for her to remain at home through her illness.
