Dr. Malcolm Hodges

Macon- Dr. Malcolm R. Hodges, of Macon, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at 3:00 PM, at Northside Christian Church with the Reverend Rich Dewees officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Northside Christian Church, 5024 Northside Drive, Macon, GA 31210. The family may be contacted at 340Wesley Circle. Dr. Hodges was a member of Northside Christian Church. He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Bibb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia. Dr. Hodges retired from the medical profession after 40 years of service. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors: Wife, Sue Hodges of Macon; Daughter, Amy McGuffey (Gary) of Missouri City, TX; Daughter, Ann Sparks (Ronnie) of Augusta, GA; three grandsons, Cameron McGuffey, Wil Sparks, Wes Sparks and two nephews. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory on Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
