Mae Thompson passed away on February 2, 2025.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Hart’s Mortuary on Cherry Street.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Forest Hills Church, 1217 Forest Hill Road, Macon, GA 31210

Mrs. Thompson was born in Harden County, Tennessee to the late John and Leatha Rinks.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Thompson, and her son, Lee Thompson.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of Forest Hills Church and a member of the Seakers Sunday School Class.  She retired from Sears as a retail buyer and later was the owner of Antiques at Ingleside Avenue.

Survivors include her son, Larry Thompson; daughter-in-law, Caroline Thompson; grandchildren: Larry Trey Thompson (Ashley), Amber Lee Thompson, Kenneth Jared Thompson (Rebecca), Sean Russell Thompson (Amanda), and Heather Thompson; and ten great-grandchildren.
