Madeline Mullis Adams

Madeline Mullis Adams, 84, of Macon, died Friday, May 7, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate) with Dr. Baxter Hurley officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00PM to 1:45PM Wednesday at Hart’s Mortuary, downtown chapel.

Madeline was born in Plainfield, Georgia to the late Lonnie Cecil Mullis, Sr., and Leone Joiner Mullis. She was also predeceased by her husband, Sammy Adams; two brothers, Lonnie Mullis, Jr. And A. Gene Mullis; and her sister, Joan Yancey. She was retired with 26 years of service from  Robins Air Force Base.

Madeline is survived by her two nieces, Lynn Anderson of Powell, Tennessee, and Debra Throckmorton (Scott) of Denver, Colorado; nephew, Ken Mullis (Janie) of Auburn, Georgia; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
