Mabel Martin Fontaine

Macon- Mabel Martin Fontaine, 74, passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 in Heartland Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Monday in Vineville United Methodist Church's CLC with visitation following the service. The Reverend Dr. Marcus Tripp and the Reverend James E. Duke, Jr. will officiate. The family may be contacted at 562 Inglewood Place. Mrs. Fontaine was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Dr. Nelson Roberts Martin and Mabel Lee Martin. She grew up in Royston, GA and was a graduate of Royston High School and Lenoir Rhyne College. She was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church, the Mack Anthony Sunday School Class, and a member and past president of the Vineville United Methodist Women. Survivors include her husband, Thomas R. Fontaine, Jr.; two children, Lee R. Fontaine (Chrissie) of Duluth, GA and Nelson M. Fontaine (Michelle) of Alpharetta, GA; two grandchildren, Thomas Cole Fontaine and Erica Lee Fontaine of Duluth, GA; a sister, Anne M. Nelson (David) of Royston, GA; two nieces, Beverly Kelley and Beth Duncan; and one nephew, David Nelson. The family requests no flowers and that contributions be made to The Methodist Home for Children and Youth, P. O.
