Lynn Yaughn Dougherty

Lynn Yaughn Dougherty went to her final rest on June 28, 2015 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Dougherty. She was a "Homemaker" by all definition, whose selfless love touched the lives of all who knew her. Mrs. Dougherty leaves behind children, Kevin (Zana) Dougherty, Thomas (Margie) Dougherty, Jo (Dan) Joyner, and Connie Dougherty, beloved grandchildren, Monica (Jack) Bergman, Kyle Dougherty, Kaylynn Dougherty, brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Markann) Yaughn, Dale (Sharon) Yaughn, Patricia Urban and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:00AM at Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Georgia, with the Reverend Wayne Searcy officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pine Pointe Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
