Lynn Wren Carter, 68 years old, passed away unexpectedly on August 6th at her home. She had two daughters that she loved deeply, Amber Courtney Carter and Autumn Wren Sapp, and she enjoyed doting on her granddaughter, Addelyn Grace Hudson. Lynn lived the past several years with her sister-in-law and best friend, Elaine Wren in Wrens, GA. Lynn was an animal lover, and especially loved dachshunds, including Oscar and the recent loss of her dog Loki.
Born in Louisville, GA in 1957 to her late parents James Edward Wren and Agnes Lorine Russell. Lynn had three siblings, two of whom are predeceased, Hugh Edward Wren and James Alvin Wren, and surviving sister Dale Wren Wicker. She graduated from Wrens High School in 1976 and went on to marry the late David Joel Carter in 1981. Lynn never met a stranger, having made friends everywhere she went. She worked at multiple jobs, but most notably at Johnson County Schools as a special education substitute teacher, as well as taking care of the elderly. She lived primarily in Wrightsville and Wrens, GA, but recently spent several months at Keysville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation where she touched the lives of the staff with her kindness and loving nature. Lynn was back to spending time with her family in the comfort of her own home shortly before she passed.
She is survived by her daughters Amber Carter and Autumn Sapp (Raymond), her granddaughter Addelyn Hudson, her sister Dale Wicker, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.
