Macon- Lula Mae "Margie" McDaniel, 81, of 122 Theresa Circle, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1:00PM at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend Robby Kerr officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the family to help with funeral arrangements. Mrs. McDaniel was predeceased by her stepsons, Hubert McDaniel and Junior McDaniel. Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her children, Patricia Hobbs of Macon, Nancy Shelton of Byron, George Johnson of Macon, Benny Ray Johnson of Albany, Freddy Johnson and Diane Johnson, both of Macon; step-children, Corbett Johnson of South Carolina and Annie Mae Hancock of Butler; thirteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; seven step-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.
