Lula Comer Greene

Macon-Lula Comer Greene, of Macon, died Saturday, November 15, 2008. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2008, in the Sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church, at 2:00PM. Burial will follow in the Gordon Family Cemetery in Jones County. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Presbyterian Church, 682 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201. Mrs. Greene was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was active in the VIP's. She was employed by the Georgia Power Company for 36 years as executive secretary to the vice president. Mrs. Greene was also a member of the Georgia Power Ambassador's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Greene; Sisters, Eunice Perry, Edna Middlebrooks and Pauline Anderson; Brother, William Comer and her parents, Andrew and Mattie Comer. Survivors: Sister, Bessie Barton of Macon; Sister, Mary Louise Comer Jennings (Harry) of New Port Richie, FL; Nephew, David C. Anderson (Judy) of Pikesville, TN; Niece, Susan Sechrist of Redlands, CA; Nephew, Terence C. Jennings (Pat) of Clearwater, FL; Niece, Jill J. Zervos (Mike) of Tarpon Springs, FL; Nephew, Andy Middlebrooks; Niece Helen Davidson (Harry) of Macon and several great nieces and nephews. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory on Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
