Lorene B. Epps

Lorene B. Epps, 97, of Macon, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend Will Johnson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park. Following the graveside service, the family invites everyone to New Elim Baptist Church, 4368 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon, Georgia for a meal and fellowship. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201.

Mrs. Epps was the daughter of the late Thomas Julius Braddy, Sr. and Mazie Callie Renfroe. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was the secretary and treasurer for Epps Used Cars, Inc. Mrs. Epps is predeceased by her husband, L. E. Epps, sister, Vera Braddy Henry and brother, Thomas Braddy, Jr.

Mrs. Epps is survived by her niece, Margaret Ashcraft of Macon; nephew, Don Henry (Brenda) of Macon; niece, Linda Diane Henry of Butler, Georgia; 7 great nieces and nephews; 14 great-great grandnephews and nieces; 2 great-great-great grandnephews and nieces; and step-son W. E. Epps (Carolyn) of Montezuma, Georgia.
