Lola Stanley Harrison

Lola Stanley Harrison, 78, of Macon, passed away October 11, 2018. Funeral services will be private.

Mrs. Harrison was born in Southwest, Virginia. As a young adult, she moved to Richmond, Virginia and was employed by Virginia Federal. She then moved to Warrenton, Virginia. In 1981, she moved to Macon with her family and worked at SunTrust Bank, formerly Trust Company Bank. She was a true "coal miner’s daughter".

Mrs. Harrison is survived by her husband, Danny Harrison, Sr; daughter, Michelle H. Duncan (David) of Macon; son, Danny Harrison, Jr. (Tamera) of Macon; grandchildren, Christopher Ward (Blakney), Benjamin Ward (Bethaney), and Janie Harrison; great-grandchildren, Abby, Riley, Emma, and Lily; brothers, Thomas Stanley (DeAnna), Dennis Stanley (Susan), and Dale Stanley (Donna); sisters, Glenda Rorrer (Gene) and Sylvia Scheerer (Buddy); and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved faithfully.
