Lois Dix Duke

Lois Dix Duke, 95, of Macon, GA, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022.  Funeral services will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street Chapel with the Reverend Chuck Beaver officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donor’s favorite charity.

Daughter of the late Angie Elmon and Nipperree Johnson Dixon, Mrs. Duke was a member of Northridge Baptist Church, formerly Eastside Baptist Church.  She was the office manager for many years at Dixie Metal Company.

Mrs. Duke was preceded in death by her first husband, Tony Dix, Jr., second husband, Frank Duke, and brother, Angie Grable Dixon.

Mrs. Duke is survived by her children, Janice Dix Riggins and Tony Lewis Dix, both of Macon; grandchildren, Jodi Handley (David) and Tony Riggins both of Macon; great grandchildren, Heather Harper (Jon), Amber Riggins Smith (Josh), and Cory Riggins; and great-great grandchildren, Hadley Harper, Brentley Harper, Aubree Smith, and Lilly Smith.
