Loette Conner DePoy, 88, of Macon, Georgia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church in Dry Branch, Georgia, with Reverend Danny Young officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Loette was born on October 2, 1937, in Dublin, Georgia, to the late John Vernon and Pauline Elizabeth Conner. She worked in banking for seventeen years and was a registrar for the Girl Scouts of America for eleven years.

She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. Loette’s faith was strong, which allowed her to persevere in life’s many challenging times. She was the example of the Proverbs 31 woman, “..a woman of noble character and her worth is far more than rubies.” Her foundation was Jesus Christ, and it is where she received her strength, her wisdom, and love.

Loette was faithful in her morning Bible Study with the love of her life, Terry DePoy. They built a strong relationship which was Christ-centered. She was compassionate, kind, and always considerate. Her smile lit up any room she walked in.

Some of her hobbies included working in the yard, watching her hummingbirds, and cooking, which she was known for her delicious dumplings and biscuits.

Loette is survived by her husband, who adored her immensely, Mr. Terry James DePoy; her sons, John Pritchett (Kathy) of Jones County, Joseph Donaldson of Texas, and Sandy Donaldson of Johnson County; her twenty-five grandchildren; her fourteen great-grandchildren; her stepdaughters, Tammy Breden of Florida and Tammy Madison of Indiana; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Chudzicki (Joe) and Phyllis Swain. She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Elizabeth Smith, Johnny Conner, and Alton Conner.
