Macon- Lizzie Mae Carroll Motes, 88, of Ormond Beach, Florida died Sunday, March 13, 2011. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with Billy Gay officiating. Burial will be private. The family may be contacted at the residence of Paige Carroll. They will greet family and friends on Wednesday at 2:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Motes was predeceased by her daughter, Martha Grimsley. She was an avid reader, loved working crossword puzzles and was a great cook. Mrs. Motes is survived by her sons, Van David Carroll, Jr. (Betty) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Ronald Wayne Carroll (Kay) of Ormond Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Roy Davis (Floy) of Macon.
