Lindsey Lee Crosby, 74, of Macon, Georgia, entered the presence of the Lord   Tuesday, July 19, 2022.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with the Reverends Chip Miller and Charley Chase officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall.  Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Campus Clubs, Inc. 2193 Vineville Ave. Macon, GA 31204, First Presbyterian Church, 682 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201, or a charity of your choice. Born in Gordon, Georgia and raised in Macon, Georgia, Lindsey was the only son of the late Jake and LaVerne Crosby. He attended Clisby Elementary School and graduated from Lanier High School where he was a member of the Sedarmoc Fraternity. Lindsey held a Bachelor of Business in Management and Marketing from Georgia Southwestern State University. In 1973, he joined The Bibb Company, a former Fortune 500 Company. With natural talent, a hard work ethic, and solid character, Lindsey steadily climbed the ranks to President of the Consumer Products Division. In 1992, he purchased Virginia Hall, Inc., a textile company, to spend as much time as possible with his family. In later years, he established a successful consulting firm, Crosby and Associates.

Lindsey was an avid outdoorsman, a huge Georgia Bulldog fan, and loved cutting up a dance floor. On weekends, you could find him eating breakfast with his family at the Waffle House. Some of his favorite times were weekends at the farm with his high school friends, a yearly tradition of a Christmas dinner with long-time friends, and going to the beach with his family at St. Simons Island, Georgia. A proud Maconite, he was passionate about investing in the Middle Georgia community. He enjoyed serving on numerous boards, including The Charles H. Jones Family Foundation, First Presbyterian Day School, and Covenant Academy. He was also a committed member and beloved Elder at First Presbyterian Church.  He and his wife, Robin, opened their home to countless people, but they especially loved the young adult community who they faithfully helped to shepherd for over 30 years. As much as he valued ministering to others, he was unabashed in his commitment to his family.

Nothing made Lindsey smile more than his wife of nearly 40 years, Robin, his two daughters, Amanda and Katie, his son-in-law, Kevin, and his three adored grandchildren.  Lindsey will be remembered for his deep love for the Lord, his family, and friends; and for the eternal impact he made on the people in his beloved hometown, Macon.

Lindsey is survived by his wife, Robin of Macon; daughters, Amanda (Kevin) Lennon and Katie Crosby, both of Macon; three grandchildren, Jack, Carrington, and Luke Lennon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, B.L. and Betty Addleton of Macon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chris and Kay Addleton of Cairo, Georgia, nephews, Blake (Anne-Marie) Addleton of Lexington, Kentucky, and Ben Addleton of Cairo; and his many cousins and great-cousins.

Hart’s Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia, 31201, has charge of the arrangements.
